PV400 Series Course Descriptions� �PV401: Utility-Scale PV Systems (8hrs)
This is the first day of an intensive 48-hour hands-on workshop series on large commercial and�utility-scale photovoltaic system design & installation. Participants must complete a Pre-Work Segment (PV201A) prior to taking this onsite workshop. �� �PV402: Utility-Scale Arrays & Modules Workshop (8hrs)
This workshop explores system design, installation, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance issues for utility-scale solar PV arrays and modules. Participants must complete PV401 or PV201 as prerequisites. � � �PV403:Utility-Scale Trackers/Mounting Systems Workshop (8hrs)
This workshop explores system design, installation, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance issues for utility-scale solar PV trackers and mounting systems. Participants must complete PV401 or PV201 as prerequisites. � � �PV404: Utility-Scale Inverters Workshop
This workshop explores system design, installation, commissioning, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance issues for utility-scale solar PV inverters. Participants must complete PV401+PV402+PV403 or PV201 as prerequisites. � � �PV405A: Utility-Scale PV Systems II ? Installation Lab�(8hrs)
This is�an 8 hour intensive hands-on�lab on utility-scale photovoltaic system design & installation.�Participants will�install and commission a large commercial grid-tied PV system. Participants must complete PV401+PV402+PV403+PV404 or PV201 as prerequisites. �PV405B: Utility-Scale PV Systems II -��(8hrs)
This is the final 8 hours of an intensive 48-hour hands-on workshop series on utility-scale photovoltaic system design & installation. These last 8 hours�in the�classroom will help prepare you for the NABCEP entry level exam. Participants must complete PV401+PV402+PV403+PV404 or PV201 as prerequisites.�
